Dr. Tiffany King Joins the WGS Department

WGS is thrilled to announce that Dr. Tiffany King will be joining us this fall as Associate Professor of Women, Gender and Sexuality! 

In fall 2022, she will assume the Barbara and John Glynn Research Professorship in Democracy and Equity. 

Dr. King is the author of the heralded book The Black Shoals: Offshore Formations and Black and Native Studies (Duke University Press, 2019), recipient of the Lora Romero First Book Prize of the American Studies Association, and co-editor of Otherwise Worlds: Against Settler Colonialism and Anti-Blackness (Duke University Press, 2020).
